ITP Foundation
We have established the ITP Foundation for the sole purpose of helping others. We personally understand the issues surrounding this blood disorder and the effect it has on children and adolescents as well as the family dynamic.
We hope to help empower doctors, nurses, researchers, patients and families who deal with this disorder on a daily basis. We encourage you to explore this site as we believe that the exchange of information is a good way to raise awareness and expand knowledge about Immune Thrombocytopenia ("ITP"), a very rare bleeding disorder.
The entire ITP Foundation website and the contents thereof does not replace professional medical opinion, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of a medical doctor or other qualified health professional before starting any new treatment or making any changes to existing treatment. The health questions and information on the ITP Foudation website should not be used to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease without the supervision of a medical doctor.
The ITP Foundation is a tax exempt organization pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
