ITP Foundation participated in 2007 Family Weekend at Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

The ITP Foundation is proud to participate in the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp's Family Weekend, at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, in Ashford, CT.

The ITP Foundation was established to raise awareness of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP). We provide support to children and adolescents with ITP, as well as their families, who might need financial assistance to manage and treat the disorder. In order to raise funds and the public’s awareness, The ITP Foundation plays an active role in sporting, social, and educational events on a local and national level.

The ITP Foundation is very pleased that the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp has included Chronic ITP children, and their families, in the Camp's spring 2007 special program schedule.

Located in Ashford, Connecticut, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is an award winning residential summer camp, and year-round center, for children with serious illnesses and conditions. Each year the camp is host to “Family Weekends” for over 100 family members affected by such life threatening diseases as cancer, hemophilia, and ITP.

While applications for approval to the Chronic ITP Family Weekend must be submitted directly to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, The ITP Foundation has established a scholarship fund to assist those families who can demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is to be used specifically for transportation costs to and from the camp.

All scholarships are subject to the applicant’s acceptance, by The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, to the Chronic ITP Family Weekend. Upon receiving your application, The ITP Foundation may contact you for additional qualifying information. All details provided below shall remain confidential.
