About the Author
Dr. Paul Imbach is the Intercontinental Cooperative ITP Study Group (ICIS) Chairperson for the Hematology/Oncology Unit of University Children's Hospital in Basel, Switzerland. He is also the resident Medical Advisory Director for the ITP Foundation.

Resources for ITPThe ITP Foundation is a non-profit organization focusing on ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia), a rare bleeding disorder, in children and youth. We seek to raise awareness of ITP among the general public, medical and health care professionals, and elected officials. In addition, we work to fund vital medical research into various aspects of ITP, including its cause, treatment and cure.
