Run for ITP
RUN for ITP is a new fundraising endeavor that facilitates a vitality in the fundraiser, as well as the sponsor donors, that is unable to be channeled into by controlled donation campaigns.
RUN for ITP is the brainchild of Chris Tinnesz. Diagnosed with ITP in 2004, Mr. Tinnesz is an amateur athlete and sports enthusiast who came to The ITP Foundation with a unique plan of action for battling ITP. RUN FOR ITP fits the mold of the ITP Foundation's belief in creating healthy and positive environments to fight ITP.
The ITP Foundation and Chris Tinnesz ask you to sponsor him as he RUNS FOR ITP. Your sponsorship plege is dependant upon how much he runs in a given period of time. Chris runs an average of 30 miles per week. He runs in all weather, regardless of the conditions. Your donation will aid the ITP Foundation in reaching our mission.
The energy of the RUN FOR ITP program should be felt by the participant and sponsor, collectively, with both parties participating equally for the cause. Chris will record daily how many miles he has RUN FOR ITP. You can keep track of his progress, and leave him your comments, by visiting his RUN FOR ITP blog.
At the end of each month, The ITP Foundation will tally up the fundraiser's donation according to the amount pledged per mile. The fundraiser wil receive a notice, by email, advising how much Chris earned for The ITP Foundation. We kindly ask that fundraisers provide donations, as pledged, by the 5th of every month. All donations are tax deductible.
